dog visits
For Tails on Tour to carry out tasks included in a visit, the client must provide cleaning equipment suitable for any unsanitary incidents; all food and instructions where feeding is required; a key/access to the garden; towels for wet weather conditions after garden let outs; and treats if their dog(s) require their own.
Flexibility
The booked time slot is estimated only and whilst Tails on Tour will make every effort to arrive at the time given, depending on road conditions and unforeseen circumstances, please allow approximately 30 minutes after your booked time slot for Tails on Tour to attend. In adverse weather conditions please understand that Tails on Tour is still open and may be slightly delayed. Please note that time starts from when Tails on Tour arrives at your property.
Dog identification
-
It is compulsory by the law that came into effect on 6 April 2016, that dogs must be microchipped. Tails on Tour cannot provide their service to clients who have not had their dog undergo the microchip procedure. Clients are to provide their dog’s microchip information on the “Doggy Details” form.
-
It is a legal requirement for the dog to wear a collar and tag with the owner’s name and address present, to aid identification if the dog is lost.
